How much does My Little Guppy Cost?
MyLittleGuppy is free and we have no plans to charge for its use in the near or far future. We may offer premium services in the future for a fee but the core features will always remain free.
How Do I Sign Up?
Click here. You will need a Facebook account. If you don't have one you can create one free at facebook.com.
Must I have Facebook Account?
Yes, MyLittleGuppy is a Facebook application and therefore the administrative tools must be run from within Facebook. Visitors to your personal web site will not need Facebook accounts to view your site.
Facebook is asking my permission for a bunch of stuff, is this OK?
Facebook has gone through many changes over the last couple years and many of them are designed to protect your privacy. Facebook simply wants to confirm that you want to allow MyLittleGuppy to run within and interact with your Facebook account. This is essential to run MyLittleGuppy so please confirm all Facebook inquiries about MyLittleGuppy
General Use
Is there a limit to the number of blog posts I can write?
No. You can type until your fingers bleed, though we recommend you stop short of that.
Is there a limit to the number of photos I can post?
No. The more the better really. Family and friends love to see photos of the little ones, so keep them coming!
Can friends and family be notified when I update my blog?
When you make an update to your MyLittleGuppy web site, it will automatically be shared with all your Facebook Friends. However for anyone who is not a Facebook friend, you might want to send them a quick email.
How do I cancel my account?
Really, you want to cancel? We are betting that the answer to this question will never actually be read. But... if you really really really want to cancel your account you can do so by visiting 'My Settings' and clicking on 'Cancel Account'.
Can I allow my spouse/partner to also make posts to my web site?
Sure can. Go to 'My Settings' and click on 'Invite Site Admins'. You will be presented with a list of your Facebook friends of which you can choose another site administrator.
Security and Privacy
Can I make my site private or password protect it?
We have taken several precautions to protect you. You can password protect your personal web site by visiting 'My Settings' and clicking on 'Advanced Settings' and checking 'Secure My Site with Password' and providing a password. Remember you are going to need to provide this password to all friends and family that you would like to access the site. They will need to enter this each time they visit your site.
Will my site be included in search engines like Google or Yahoo?
Only if you would like it to be. By default we block the search engines from indexing your personal site however if you would like to allow your site to become listed you can visit 'My Settings' and clicking on 'Advanced Settings' and checking 'Allow Your Site to Be Scanned by Search Engines'
Friends and Family
Can people who do not have facebook accounts visit my site?
Yes of course they can. Facebook friends will have the added benefit of seeing when you update your MyLittleGuppy site on their Wall but no Facebook account is needed to visit your personal Web site.
What is my personal web address?
Look at the top of your control panel and it will say 'My Site'. This is your personal Web address.
